Salary: $115,000 – $190,000 annually

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled CNO Developer to provide technical expertise supporting a U.S. Government customer in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of mission-critical software and systems. This full-time role focuses on creating custom capabilities across various platforms in alignment with a significant government contract. The ideal candidate will have strong programming expertise, experience with Windows or Unix applications, and a proven ability to deliver innovative solutions in support of mission success.

Key Responsibilities

  • * Collaborate as part of a development team on Unix, Windows, or Mobile platforms to design, develop, test, and maintain CNO capabilities.
  • * Create custom software tools and design new techniques across multiple operating environments.
  • * Work directly with customers to identify needs, understand mission requirements, and adapt to evolving needs.
  • * Write and maintain clear documentation related to operating, implementing, and supporting software and technical solutions.
  • * Mentor and support junior developers, fostering professional growth and team development.

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • * Security Clearance: Active or reinstateable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • * U.S. Citizenship required.
  • * 6+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree (or related technical field) OR 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • * Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages.
  • * Experience developing software on Windows or Unix platforms.
  • * Comprehensive understanding of OS internals and networking protocols.
  • * Familiarity with modern software engineering concepts.
  • * Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • * Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $115,000 – $190,000 annually
