Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist to provide technical expertise supporting a U.S. Government customer. This full-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical software and systems development on a major government contract. The ideal candidate will possess strong cryptanalysis skills, hands-on programming expertise, and the ability to tackle technical challenges independently or collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• * Utilize mathematical models, methods, and techniques to analyze complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• * Contribute to the design, development, and improvement of cryptanalytic software tools.
• * Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining the ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
• * Communicate findings, technical challenges, and solutions effectively with team members and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• * Security Clearance: Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• * U.S. Citizenship required.
• * 5+ years of relevant experience in cryptanalysis, software development, or a related technical area.
• * Strong software development expertise, specifically in Python and C++.
• * Ability to apply mathematical models and techniques to identify and solve technical problems.
• * Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• * Exceptional communication skills with experience engaging with technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $115,000 – $190,000 annually
