Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to provide technical expertise supporting a U.S. Government customer. This full-time role offers the opportunity to leverage Python and Data Science expertise to sustain and enhance mission-critical software and systems. The ideal candidate will execute a range of tasks throughout the development lifecycle, supporting the creation of new CNO tools and plugins while providing mission-focused insights.
Key Responsibilities
- * Conduct vulnerability analysis to identify weaknesses and opportunities for strategic insights.
- * Develop and document tradecraft processes to optimize workflows and analysis.
- * Analyze large-scale data sets to generate mission-centric, actionable insights.
- * Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows to streamline data analysis.
- * Build and maintain scripts to convert, normalize, and prepare data for analysis.
- * Actively execute customer requests and collaborate on outreach efforts as needed.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- * Security Clearance: Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- * U.S. Citizenship required.
- * 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree).
- * Proficiency in Python and strong experience with Data Science methods for analysis.
- * Hands-on experience with large data set analysis.
- * Familiarity with leveraging APIs for data integration and analysis.
- * Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence, and Git for version control.
- * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- * Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to Have
- * Familiarity with SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
- * Experience conducting open-source research for intelligence purposes.
- * Background in CNO capabilities and operations.
- * Familiarity with Elastic, Kibana, and writing analytics in PIG.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $50,000 – $120,000 annually
