Responsibilities:

• *Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with organizational values, mission, and vision.
• *Maintain current knowledge in areas of responsibility through self-education and attending educational programs.
• *Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services and competency evaluations.
• *Provide care to patients of all ages, demonstrating competency based on patient needs.
• *Follow hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
• *Wear protective clothing and equipment as necessary.

Must-Haves:

• Associate Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited school.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (or must obtain within 1 year of hire).
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Georgia license.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) (must be obtained within 2 years of hire).
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (must be obtained within 2 years of hire).
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with basic computer proficiency.
