Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse - ER Nights to join their dynamic and fast-paced emergency department team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, compassionate patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be a skilled RN dedicated to fostering patient well-being, supporting team goals, and excelling in an emergency care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- * Comprehensive Patient Care: Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients.
- * Patient & Family Education: Provide health education and training to patients and their families to promote informed care.
- * Team Leadership: Supervise and guide both licensed and non-licensed personnel within the unit.
- * Flexible Scheduling: Ensure continuity of care by working flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- * Maintain Optimal Standards: Demonstrate leadership and maintain the highest nursing care standards.
- * Age-Specific Care: Provide diagnosis- and age-specific care for a diverse patient population.
Must-Have Qualifications
Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse licensure in Alabama or multi-state eligibility.
Certifications:
- * BLS certification (within 30 days of hire).
- * ACLS certification (within six months of hire).
Skills & Abilities:
- * Strong verbal communication and leadership abilities.
- * Practical and cognitive ability to fully implement the nursing process.
- * Ability to remain effective in high-stress situations.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- * Prior experience in an emergency department setting.
- * Additional certifications or advanced nursing education would be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $56,160–$85,280 (based on experience).
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 with a two-year commitment.
