Position Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join their dynamic healthcare team. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional respiratory care across a variety of units, including ICU, general units, pediatric populations, and emergency departments. The ideal candidate will be focused on assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans to support optimal patient outcomes in a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• * Respiratory Care Delivery: Provide professional respiratory care to patients in a variety of units, including adult ICUs, general units, and emergency departments.
• * Patient Assessment & Treatment Planning: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for assigned patients.
• * Emergent Response: Quickly respond to emergent situations and perform required physical movements in the course of care.
• * Maintain Proficiency: Ensure department-defined proficiencies are maintained in both ICU and general unit care.
• * Patient Oversight: Monitor care delivery to assigned patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• * Charge Responsibilities: Assume leadership responsibilities or assist in emergency care as appropriate, based on skill proficiencies.

Must-Have Qualifications

Licensure: Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Vermont (prior to start date).

Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program.

Certifications:

• * ACLS, BLS, and PALS current certifications.
• * New graduates are required to achieve Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) status within one year of hire; experienced candidates must already have RRT credentials.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• * Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $55,411–$85,681 annually (based on experience).

Sign-On Bonus:

• * $5,000 for less than three years of experience.
• * $10,000 for three or more years of experience.
• * Disbursed in two payments (first paycheck and at six months).

Relocation Assistance: Partial relocation package available.

Shift Details: 12-hour shifts - 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM. Schedule: Three shifts per week (72 hours per pay period). Rotation: Includes every other weekend and holidays.
