Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Technical Security Counter Measure (TSCM) Technician to conduct inspections and safeguard government installations by identifying and neutralizing unauthorized networks (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth). This full-time, on-site role is critical for national security, ensuring compliance with DoD and PFPA policies.
Key Responsibilities
- * Conduct routine inspections of office spaces to identify and neutralize unauthorized surveillance threats.
- * Adhere to established TSCM protocols and standards for comprehensive inspections.
- * Accurately document inspection activities and findings with attention to detail and accuracy.
- * Prepare and deliver clear, concise briefings on inspection results during operational meetings and staff updates.
- * Generate written reports in the PFPA-SSD format within five days of investigation, outlining findings and actionable recommendations.
- * Operate and manage advanced radio frequency monitoring equipment for signal detection.
- * Analyze signal data to resolve anomalies, maintaining a signals database for historical comparisons.
- * Provide expert guidance and recommendations for neutralizing threat signals.
- * Conduct mobile device detection sweeps as directed by PFPA mandates.
- * Support and participate in TSCM investigations, including physical and instrumented signal detection efforts.
- * Ensure compliance with DoD, IA-30, and PFPA policies to maintain a secure environment.
- * Complete mandatory training within designated timeframes to maintain operational readiness.
- * Prepare and deliver briefings to senior DoD executives and policy decision-makers as needed.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- * Completion of Department of Defense TSCM Service School or Interagency Training Center Fundamentals Course.
- * Two (2) years minimum experience in Technical Security Counter Measures (TSCM).
- * Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- * Ability to work onsite at the Pentagon or other DoD facilities within the National Capital Region (NCR).
- * Possess a valid driver’s license without special restrictions.
