Position Overview

Our client is seeking an accomplished Regional Vice President with extensive expertise in the electrical contracting industry and a proven track record of overseeing large-scale operations. This leadership role, based in Northern California (Sacramento area), involves managing a team of 250–300 field staff and driving the region's success through strategic oversight, operational excellence, and strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities

  • * Provide strategic leadership to ensure safety, productivity, and quality across regional operations.
  • * Oversee labor costs, recruitment, project procurement, and contract management.
  • * Develop and execute regional strategic plans to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • * Collaborate with the Board of Directors to establish and achieve profit and revenue goals of $120–125 million.
  • * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and public agencies.
  • * Supervise engineering design teams, project schedules, and budget management.
  • * Mentor and develop field and office staff through leadership initiatives and training programs.
  • * Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and labor laws.
  • * Represent the company at industry events and maintain an active presence in relevant organizations.
  • * Proactively address job site challenges, ensuring safety and production standards are upheld.
  • * Champion the company’s culture and mission within the region.
  • * Travel up to 50% of the time to support regional leadership needs.

Qualifications

  • * Experience: 5+ years in senior leadership within the electrical contracting industry.
  • * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • * Proven ability to manage large-scale operations, with a focus on profit and revenue goals.
  • * Deep understanding of strategic planning, contract negotiations, and industry compliance.
  • * Strong communication skills, including public speaking, written, and verbal communication.
  • * Proficiency in business reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and forecasting.
  • * Expertise in tools like Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, and other relevant systems.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $230,000 – $300,000 annually, plus performance bonuses.
