Position Overview
Our client is seeking an accomplished Regional Vice President with extensive expertise in the electrical contracting industry and a proven track record of overseeing large-scale operations. This leadership role, based in Northern California (Sacramento area), involves managing a team of 250–300 field staff and driving the region's success through strategic oversight, operational excellence, and strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities
- * Provide strategic leadership to ensure safety, productivity, and quality across regional operations.
- * Oversee labor costs, recruitment, project procurement, and contract management.
- * Develop and execute regional strategic plans to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- * Collaborate with the Board of Directors to establish and achieve profit and revenue goals of $120–125 million.
- * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and public agencies.
- * Supervise engineering design teams, project schedules, and budget management.
- * Mentor and develop field and office staff through leadership initiatives and training programs.
- * Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and labor laws.
- * Represent the company at industry events and maintain an active presence in relevant organizations.
- * Proactively address job site challenges, ensuring safety and production standards are upheld.
- * Champion the company’s culture and mission within the region.
- * Travel up to 50% of the time to support regional leadership needs.
Qualifications
- * Experience: 5+ years in senior leadership within the electrical contracting industry.
- * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
- * Proven ability to manage large-scale operations, with a focus on profit and revenue goals.
- * Deep understanding of strategic planning, contract negotiations, and industry compliance.
- * Strong communication skills, including public speaking, written, and verbal communication.
- * Proficiency in business reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and forecasting.
- * Expertise in tools like Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, and other relevant systems.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $230,000 – $300,000 annually, plus performance bonuses.
